Events
I enjoy creating experiences that bring people together. Professionally, this has brought me opportunities to plan magazine launch parties and nonprofit fundraisers.
Launch Parties
While I worked with VIM Magazine, I worked on eight launch parties for the bi-yearly print issues along with other events for members.
I worked to secure venues, catering, and decore (many of which were DIY, including the polaroid frame). I also helped manage a team as I became the Assistant Director and then Director of the Events Team.
Fundraisers
I had the opportunity to intern with the Clinton-Gratiot Habitat for Humanity where I helped them plan their two major fundraisers: the Bike to Build cycling event and the Dream Builders Gala.
For both fundraisers, I worked to retain and secure new sponsors. Additionally, for the gala, I retained and secured new silent auction items.
I also ran marketing campaigns for both events, utilizing the organization's website, direct mail, social. media, and email marketing.
